What's It All About

There will be no posting of profit and loss screen shots on this blog, just general day to day truths about my punting life and how good or bad I am (mostly bad)

We do Have a Bet

I have gone with one of my Horse racing Software system bets today

I use This Software and find it to be very good

You can trial and analyse 1000's of systems here and you will never get bored of checking them out and trying to find the much looked for Golden Goose

There is one system that has proved to be very successful over a long period of time and shows a nice steady level stake profit since 2002, I will not bore you all to death with it but it selects horses that have a good chance of being placed.
It does not provide too many winning horses but does provide a lot of big priced placed horses

From 1st November 2009 until today it has produced a win level stakes profit of + 33 and a placed level stakes profit of + 42.75

Anyway enough of numbers, it has flashed up one for today

Worcester 3:30 - Three Ships

I have split a stake 60/40 place/win on Betfair

1 Step Forward But Loads Back

Well I had a winner with Cassini's penalty shoot out bet in the Japan v Paraguay match..... but I decided to trade out at around the 60 minute mark for an all green screen but then started to regret it as the shoot out looked more and more inevitable, I should have held my nerve and let the bet run, note to self regarding this (be brave my man).

Well at least we had profit....... but decided that Japan were going to win the penalty shoot out and backed them @ 2.12 with all of the winnings from the previous trade... DOH, big mistake, break even, still not all bad, no money lost..... but

Backed the draw in the Spain v Portugal game for a loss and the penalty shoot out bet went south on this one too so all in all a bad day which was started by my stupid trade out on the Japan game

To top all that off it looks as though Roy Boy Hodgers is going to Liverpool so my mighty lay has backfired

No bets today so that means no losers ahhh

A Winning Day

Shock horror I manged to have a winning day

Brazil beat Chile and I also backed the over 2.5 goals pre KO so happy days are here again

I am an avid follower of Green All Over and Cassini has highlighted some great tips over the past few days so I have decided to follow one of his tips today (well 2 really)

Either side to win a penalty shoot out in today's games when dutched pays a handsome 6 on Betfair and that is where I am going

I won't be able to watch the Spain game as we have a family dinner for my daughters 18th birthday (god i am old now)

Constant Whinging Spanish Style

His face says it all what a miserable git he is

So Hamilton broke the rules, was reported to the stewards by EL Whinge O, took his punishment like a man and still managed to finish 2nd, what more does this whinger want... blood

Get over it mate face the facts, Lewis is a much better driver than you end of

Gutted

Well I am not going to rake over the England game, it has been said by many, we were very poor end of, onwards and upwards as they say

At least we know how to race F1 Cars and it is great to see us doing well in the Cricket, so all is not lost in the world of English sport (I won't mention Andy Murray as he doesn't count)

Well both of my bets got turned over yesterday so all in all it was a bad day, apart from the copious amounts of beer that was consumed watching the Grand Prix and the England shambles

I thought Lewis Hamilton drove very well in Valencia and if only he had not decided to race the safety car we could have had a winner, anyway I am confident of a McLaren 1-2 in 2 weeks time at Silverstone, but more of that nearer the time

Today we have 2 bets

I have had a nibble at Brazil in the outright market @ 4.6 (already have Germany backed at 16)

I have also backed them to beat Chile @ 1.53 with Canbet

Enjoy the sunshine (it won't last)

Well Here We Go Then

The day of reckoning has arrived, will we won't we what will be will be, I am not going anywhere near this game (England of course) will be sitting drinking loads of beer and enjoying it whatever the outcome, it's only a game after all. yeah right, Come on England your fans need you.... to win!!

Made a loss yesterday of about £5.00 as I got involved in a couple of F1 bets, buying Hamilton in the overall Qualifying Winner market at 4 (spread bet.. whoo wee more scary stuff), he finished on P3 so we made a massive £1.00 on that, lost money on backing Kubica in running on Betfair

Lost money on the fricking US of A being don over by Ghana and a horse that I fancied got turned over at Chester so all in all a loosing day

Today we have just 2 bets

Argentina to keep a clean sheet in their game against Mexico @ 1.96 on Betfair and Lewis Hamilton to win the European Grand Prix @ 5 with Canbet

I have decided to not put stakes in anymore you will just have to believe what I say when I report any profit or loss

Have a tip top day in the sun and as the saying goes... big roar COME on ENGLAND

Saturday Bets All Simple Stuff

Well I think today looks really easy on the World Cup front, both games looks very straight forward............. if only it was that easy

Anyway we have a couple of nibbles

Uruguay to beat South Korea @ 1.91 £10.00 stake

USA to beat Ghana @ 2.7 £10.00 stake

I always get sucked into a Grand Prix qualifying bet so will look at that later on but may not get a chance to post it as I like to live life in the fast lane and bet in play whoooooooooo I hear you say, scary stuff

Good luck today if you are playing

Poor Start

Well what did you expect, I told you I am not that good at this betting lark

I managed to get involved in the Big Brother eviction, laying the fav Govan as the market had been wrong the previous week, guess what they were not wrong this week DOH, but it was only a loss of £1.50 (i don't do big gambles)

A total loss for the day of £14.70

Highlight of the day was the draw between Portugal and Brazil, I did call it but how dull was that...

Mug bets in this game were the anytime goal scorers, should have been any player to shoot!

Hope to have a couple of bets for today, back soon

More Bets

Well i have been suckered into the interest bets in the Brazil v Portugal game

Ronaldo to score @ 3.4 £2.00 stake
Bastos to score @ 13.0 £2.00 stake

Both on Betfair, i am watching the game and so far it has not lived up to its billing

Bets have been found

Well I have managed to find a couple of bets for todays games:

Brazil v Portugal Draw @ 2.88 with a £5.00 stake

Spain v Chile Draw @ 3.80 with a £5.00 stake

Roy Boy & Liverpool

Well I wasn't away too long was I, just seen that the BBC are claiming that Roy Boy is going to be the next Livewrpool manager, HERE well I hope not because i have laid him to the tune of £25.00 with a liability of around £17.00, I just do not see him being the right sort of manager for them, go on Roy stay where you are and give me some profit mate

Day 1 Friday 25th June

Bored rigid in the office of our Empire (we sell wellington boots) so the hot sunshine does nothing for our business

Anyway final group games in the World Cup and I cannot find a punt that I fancy today, they all look too hard to solve

Was tempted by the overs in the Ivory Coast v North Korea game but the odds are pathetic so I will not be getting involved in that one

Will be watching Chile Spain tonight so may get sucked into a "interest bet" I do not bet in large stakes either so don't come here if you are looking for claims of "managed to get £355.00 green on that one" it is not going to happen

See you all later on and enjoy the sunshine..... bring on the rain for God's sake!
